Serial shop thief arrested in Southport

A 30 year old man from Netherton was arrested yesterday afternoon on Haweside Street in Southport, Tuesday 12 December.

Officers arrested him in connection with multiple thefts from shops in Southport.

The value of goods taken is in excess of £1000.

A spokesperson from Merseyside police said: “We continue to work with local businesses to reduce theft.”
