Sefton Greens in “dare to be different” call to voters

4th April 2019
The Green Party is standing candidates in 18 wards in this year’s Sefton Council elections with an appeal for voters to “dare to be different”.
With climate breakdown, pollution and loss of green spaces becoming higher priorities, Sefton Green Party are hoping to scoop up votes from people who want to protect nature and craft a society that can thrive in the uncertain times ahead.
Sefton Green Party co-ordinator Mike Carter  said: “These elections are a chance to take a stand, to unleash the power of fresh thinking, to protect what we have and make something that lasts.
“Green councillors up and down the country are getting amazing results because they are beholden to no-one apart from the people they serve. We believe in listening to residents as we work together to transform lives and protect and improve the places we love.
“Put your trust in us – dare to be different!”
