Sefton Council order gypsy travellers out of Southport less then 24 hours after arriving.

Gypsy travellers have been kicked off Kew Park & Ride this evening after Sefton Council issued an eviction notice, Tuesday 18 June 2018.

The travellers had made their way to the park and ride overnight after fleeing from angry residents in Formby.

An eviction notice was served by Council officer Jill Coule and was found scrunched up in a ball after being tossed away and left among the rubbish by the fleeing travellers.

One angry Kew resident said “I’m glad to see the back of them all they do is cause trouble and set their dogs on kids and they’re horrible. I bet they will leave a right mess too”
