Sefton Council guard Southport sink hole
A sink hole has appeared on Virginia Street, Southport this afternoon, Sunday 17 July 2016
Yet another sink hole has appeared on Virginia Street, this time outside the entrance to Lidl.
An engineer on site today told our reporter: “United Utilities will carry out a dig sometime this coming week to decide who is liable for the sink hole – United Utilities or Sefton council.”
On our OTSNews.co.uk Facebook page, Mark Taylor said: “The roads in Southport are an absolute disgrace in fact I would go as far to say that the road network in the area is totally out of control!”
“Where has our road tax money gone to maintain our roads?”
“Lennon would turn in his grave as Southport surpasses the 4000 potholes they had in Blackburn by ten fold at least.”
“In Windsor road there is so much grass growing in the gutters you could play crown green bowls curbside style.”
