A Yeovil woman has embarked on a 600-mile round trip to find her parcel after it was wrongly delivered to a house on the other side of the country in Southport.
Vicky Critchley, who lives closer to France than she does Southport, was stunned to find her couriered parcel of a 10ft long paddleboard had been accidentally delivered to the North West resort and signed for by a man called Andrew Hall.
Vicky was left flabbergasted when she received a notification to say her paddleboard had been successfully delivered by DHL on Friday.
However when she checked the unmissable huge parcel was nowhere to be found.
After a fruitless search, Vicky was stunned to find that a hapless delivery driver cockup had seen her 10ft paddleboard handed over to a man in Southport, 240 miles in the wrong direction.
Vicky contacted OTS News in a desperate attempt to track down her parcel.
She said “I am hoping OTS readers will be able to help me find a man called Andrew Hall who lives on St Thomas Drive in Southport.
“He received and signed for my parcel today (Friday) and I would really appreciate he contact me about this.”
