Search to find the owner of lost dog

A lost dog searching for her beloved owner has been found and rescued by animal lovers in the Hampton Road area.

So far nobody has come forward to claim their pet has gone missing but two separate people have identified the Jack Russel as potentially belonging to an elderly man who lives in the Hampton Road area of Southport.

There are now concerns the man may be in distress but nobody knows where he lives.
The pooch is currently being cared for until it can be returned home.
