Furious motorists in Southport town centre have been forced to swerve to avoid a couple riding their mobility scooters on the road.
The pair were spotted in the town centre earlier today with one of the riders taking to the roadside to move out of the way of a pedestrian.
However after moving they continued to drive in the road all the way to the roundabout between Leicester Street and the Promenade.
The unusual obstacle caused both cyclists and motorists to swerve further into the road narrowly causing collisions with other cars.
