POLICE are appealing for witnesses and issuing a warning to the public following a bogus workman incident in Tarleton
An 85-year old male was at his home in Tarleton on Monday 16th March when two males called at his property offering to carry out work on his roof.
The victim was then driven to Preston city centre in order for him to access £950.00 from his bank account, via the cash machine.
The two males were in a White Citron Dispatch Van (with ladders on the roof) similar to the one in the picture.
The public can also assist us in tackling these crimes by remaining vigilant for suspicious activity around the homes of family, friends and neighbours and reporting any concerns to the police.
