The cricket match will take place over four days, beginning on Wednesday August 29 and is the last in the three year staging agreement awarded to the Birkdale-based club by the County in 2016.
This will be Worcestershire’s fifth visit to Trafalgar Road, having featured in the first ever County Championship match at the venue in 1959, followed by further visits in 1969, 1975 and 1979 when David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd scored a century in each innings to guide Lancashire to an eight wicket victory.
