On Saturday 21st November, Sam Bailey will officially begin the Christmas season, by switching on the Christmas lights.
She will be joined by cappella group, and winners of BBC 2’s The Naked Choir, Sons of Pitches.
Sam, who won X Factor in 2013, supported Beyonce on her Miss Carter tour.
Also singing on the day will be soul singer Jaki Graham and Essex-born singer/songwriter Leddra Chapman.
The switch-on will be an all day affair, with live acts from 2pm.
And there’s plenty for children, CBeebies star Mr Bloom will give a 45 minute performance, and there will be a huge children’s ‘Magical Christmas Forest’ craft area with a giant snow-globe.
