Safety campaigner still waiting TWO years after asking council for help

7th August 2019

A Southport safety campaigner says he is still waiting two long years later after he asked the council to sort out an issue in Meols Cop.

Campaigner Jimmy Jones says he was promised faithfully by Sefton Council that they would do something to fix the lack of a dropped curb by Jewsons on Bispham Road.

Jimmy said “the council promised me faithfully over two years ago to do something about this problem with the lack of a Drop curb on a very high pavement by the Jewsons Building supplies company

“This is very dangerous for wheelchair users and prams?

”Just try & go along the pavement opposite Jewsons down the hill passed Jewson’s and it’s an accident waiting to happen”
