Southport Hesketh Round Table’s charity fireworks and family bonfire returns next month and promises to wow audiences across town.
The team of volunteers responsible for the night are inviting families to come and enjoy this community event and watch the fireworks fill the sky with colour on Saturday, November 4 at Victoria Park.
This year’s event night kicks-off from 5pm, with Children’s entertainment featuring Taz & Starkidz from 5.15pm. There will be a bonfire from 6.30pm and the fireworks display will start at 8pm.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the fairground, bouncy castles, games stalls, hot food, refreshments and live entertainment.
Bonfire event chairman Dan Hubbard said: “We are really looking forward to putting on another memorable community event! All the hard work put in by the guys in the months leading up to the night is made worthwhile when we see the event full of happy families enjoying a great night out, knowing that we are raising vital funds for a range of good causes.
“None of this could happen without the help of numerous additional volunteers, sponsors and most of all the incredible people of Southport who continue to support this event year after year.
“This is our 10th year of organising the bonfire and firework display and our Tablers and many other volunteers are gearing up to make sure visitors are kept safe and entertained from start to finish. Our previous events have helped us raise much-needed funds for local charities and good causes; we are keen to continue to show our support and this year hope do even more! We can’t wait to see all the community on the November 4!”
