Revellers have lucky escape after part of building collapses

Revellers had a lucky escape after part of the brickwork above the Chop House bar on the corner of Scarisbrick Avenue and West Street collapsed onto the pavement below, Friday 7 December 2018.

Brickwork was left all over the pavement outside the entrance.

Nobody was thought to be injured and the area remains cordoned off this morning.
