Residents Furious after armchair dumped on Roe Lane

Residents of Roe Lane are furious after two men in a van dumped an old armchair on the side of the road last week.

The dishevelled armchair was left at the junction of roe lane and Hesketh drive by two men who pulled up in a van and dumped it before speeding off.

It’s thought the men had been paid a lot of money to take the chair away and instead of spending fees at the local tip, chose instead to throw the chair into the road for the council to clean up.
