Regulars on the Southport nightlife scene wanted to feature on TV show

Uncovered TV, an online based entertainments channel, are set to film in Southport, Birkdale and the surrounding areas on Saturday December 17 and are asking for people in the resort to take part.

They are especially looking for people who are regulars on the Southport nightlife scene to feature.

Starting at the Clifton Hotel, the film crew will move towards Southport and focus on the town’s Northern Quarter where the Bold, Corridor, Peaky Blinders and Bar 45 are.

Filming will also take part in Birkdale village at Birkers, Verve and a number of other destinations.

They will also aim to catch the late night life and nightclub scene in the town in what they hope to be a positive piece looking at how the nightime culture has been rejuvenated in the area.

A spokesperson for Uncovered TV said: “We are due to film in Southport on December 17 starting at the Clifton Hotel.

“The team will then travel throughout Southport first covering the whole of the Birkdale area and then onto the Northern Quarter.

“From then on we want to film at the bars and nightspots

“This is a positive nightlife tour and we will be interviewing lots of the familiar faces of Southport for a 12 part series looking at the whole of the North West.”
