A visiting family to Southport for the half term say they will never come back after a rat bit their young toddler.
Samantha Moed and her family were staying in Southport town centre this week but cut their trip short after an evening walk through king’s gardens turned into a nightmare.
Samantha said her young son was playing in the bushes near to the miniature model village and screamed in pain.
When she checked on her child he had a deep bleeding cut to his finger which he said was a mouse.
Later on Samantha spotted two brown rats running from a bin and she believes it was actually a rat which bit her son.
She said she complained to the nurses who treated him at Ormskirk hospital and they said it’s not the first time something like this has happened
