OTS News is saddened to report the death of popular Southport man Lou Fashioni.
Lou was a popular local singer who sang with The Brooklyn Trio – resident band at The Riverside and The Mere Brow Institute in the 1970s.
Lou was born to Italian parents in Fernley Road, Birkdale. At the time the area was so full of Italian families that it was known as Little Italy and he was the last Italian to live there before
he left to go into residential care 5 years ago.
He will be very sadly missed by his 5 children, 14 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren.
He passed away as he lived – surrounded by love.
