Pub lunchers shock as customer collapses

Sunday dinner goers were shocked when their meals were interrupted by a medical emergency this afternoon, Sunday 21 October 2018.

A customer at the Hesketh Arms pub on Botanic Road in Churchtown fell ill during the busy Sunday rush and panicked staff called an ambulance as a precaution.

Paramedics arrived on scene within minutes and attended to the patient on sight before taking them to Southport hospital as a precaution.
