Prime madness takes over Southport as Aldi stock decimated

The Prime energy drink craze has taken over Southport as thousands of people desperately try to get their hands on the coveted beverage.

Aldi staff at Meols Cop and Birkdale were forcing people to limit the amount they could buy after the supermarket launched stock yesterday.

Staff at the store in Meols Cop did their best tk avoid chaotic shoppers swiping up bottles by handing them out from behind the tills.

One shopper praised the store for being ‘calm and collected’ as he bought Prime for both his sons.

The drink, which has been created by social media stars Logan Paul and KSI, is sweeping the country and people have been paying more than £20 a bottle in some instances.

Newsagents in the town have also managed to get limited stock.
