AUDIENCES YOUNG AND OLD WILL BE IN A QUIVER THIS EASTER AS ROBIN HOOD RETURNS HOME!
Join our hero Robin Hood, played by CITV’s Hi-5 Chris Edgerley, as he puts right the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham who rules over the good people of Sherwood, collecting taxes to pay for his own evil plans.
Silly Willy Scarlet (played by the hilarious Tom Swift) is eager to help and join the Merry Men (Britain’s Got Talent comedy impressionist Philip Green as Little John, and from Harry Potter and C4 Seven Dwarfs Josh Bennett as Big John). Josh will be exchanging a pick axe for green tights.
The auditions for ‘Sherwoods Got Talent’ are the perfect distraction as the Sheriff kidnaps Maid Marian – will Robin Hood and his very Merry Men be able to rescue her in time??
Join the gang and enjoy this adventurous Spring Pantomine with laugh-a-minute jokes, animated projections, spectacular effects, and a collection of toe tapping, original, sing-a-long songs designed for the whole family. Wicked Productions has joined forces with Captiv8 Productions to create this new belly-laughing comedy, it’s going to be great fun and great value.

Chris Edgerley said:
“I am so excited to be returning to my home town of Southport, my family still live in Churchtown, and i am often back to visit. Robin Hood is perfect as I can for once work and be home at the same time. The same day that Robin Hood is on at the Southport Theatre is my mum’s birthday, not going to tell you what decade, but it’s a BIG one! She will kill me for this, but you all probably know Linda, she likes wine, chocolate and cuddles. It’s going to be a very special day, and I very much look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces in the audience”.
Robin Hood plays at Southport Theatre on Monday 13 April 2015 (3pm and 7pm). Tickets range from £10.50 – £15.90. Then tours to Lowestoft, Rhyl, Shrewsbury, Hayes, Harlow, Hastings, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Margate, Horsham, and Bradford.
