Preston New Road closed serious RTC

Police and emergency services have rushed to the scene of a collision between a motorbike and a car in Churchtown.

A car is believed to have struck a motorbike and seriously injured the rider.
Preston New Road And Cambridge Road is now shut.

Traffic is being diverted around the scene while emergency services work to clear the debris.

An update from Merseyside police is expected shortly.
