The temporary closure of the restaurant, which opened in November last year, was a result of a water leak in the premises.
The manager of the Lord Street venue said that there is also an issue affecting water pipes on Nevill Street – which they are currently trying to resolve.
Karen Rimmer, the general manager from Bistrot Pierre, said: “Bistrot Pierre Southport is temporarily closed until further notice and we apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.”
Bistrot Pierre has today reopened, Tuesday 23 January 2018.
Situated in the former Russell & Bromley shoe shop with its iconic wrought iron canopy, our bistrot seats over 100 people across two floors, as well as offering external seating for 40 people.
Our ‘raison d’être’ is great value French cooking and seasonal menus. We like to combine French bistrot classics such as steak-frites, boeuf bourguignon and crème brûlée with our own take on regional favourites like tarte flambée, confit de canard and pâté de campagne. Our relaxed and friendly bistrots are the place to go for any occasion.
Open seven days a week, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have something for everyone, from our two-course Prix fixe lunch for £11.95 and a two course Prix fixe early evening menu for £14.95 to our evening À la carte menu. We also offer gluten-free dishes and a children’s menu, which comes with our bespoke 14 page activity pack.
