This is why popular a Birkdale bar has closed

Saturday night revellers were left disappointed when they arrived to a “closed” Verve on Weld Road in Birkdale this weekend.

One customer said: “Verve was in darkness with no staff or information informing customers of the reason for the closure.”

OTS News can reveal that closure is down to pre-planned improvement works being carried out in the kitchen area.

Customers will not have to wait too long, the hugely popular establishment is scheduled to reopen on 15th January.
