Furious farmers are complaining to Sefton Council after they closed the recycling centres forcing families to dump their rubbish.
A surge in fly tipping around Pool Hey Lane has left residents and farmers in the area incensed after people stopped by in the middle of the night to dump their rubbish.
Bags of waste have been left scattered at the roadside polluting nearby streams.
Residents can’t throw out their rubbish after the tips were shut down last week.
