Pontins slammed after guest greeted with “Poo” in their chalet
Pontins holiday park in Ainsdale has again been slammed by one family who claimed to have found poo in their “filthy” chalet and witnessed “fist fights” in a play area.
Christie Bunney told the Sun newspaper that she arrive arrived with her family at the family park in Southport, Merseyside on August 12.
The mother-of-two claimed there was excrement still in the toilet when they arrived at their chalet and that the family witnessed an altercation in a children’s play area, the Sun has reported.
Despite asking to be moved, Christie claims she was told the resort was full and there were no other chalets available.
The family decided to stay and tried out the advertised facilities including the children’s ‘Fun Factory’, mini-golf course and soft play area.
Christie claimed that inside the Fun Factory, the family was “caught between arguments” and even “witnessed fist fights”.
She even alleged that she saw police arriving and watched a foul-mouthed lady being escorted off site by four policemen.
Christie has said she sent Pontins a complaint email but has only received a generic email back.
She said: “For the horrendous things we have witnessed we want a full refund for the atrocious excuse for a holiday we had.”
The Sun Online has contacted Pontins for a comment.
