Families are taking to TikTok to describe the hellish conditions of staying at Pontins Southport.
One woman even went as far as to claim she found a bag of cocaine under one of the beds from a previous guest.
In the latest viral review of the much-maligned holiday park in Ainsdale, which has been viewed nearly 2 million times and attracted thousands of comments, user Kirsty S makes a series of tongue-in-cheek remarks.
Showing the venue in a dire state, Kirsty mocks the filthy appearance of her room, including an insect-filled fridge and grease-stained oven.
In one scene she points out crusty stains on the bed covers before identifying a series of stains she believes to be human faeces.
It’s the latest video posted to the popular social media platform which shows off the poor condition of the Britannia-run holiday park.
The venue, despite its well-known flaws, remains a hugely popular and affordable holiday destination for thousands of families during the summer months.
Significantly low fees and charges for staying at Pontins Ainsdale are thought to be the main reasons why it still attracts guests.
Sarah’s video also highlights a series of safety concerns, including plug socket-powered devices that have not been PAT tested since 2017 and a smoke alarm dangling from the ceiling.
One commenter remarked, “if the homeless were offered the chance to stay there they would refuse.”
