Police urge Southport youngsters to report someone who carry knives

Southport youngsters are being urged to report their peers who carry knives through a unique text service.

Merseyside Police want youngsters  in our area to send information to them in confidence in a bid to tackle knife crime among teenagers.

Youngsters can pass on information, including name, school age and address via the text service, which is being run by the national charity Crimestoppers.
