Police in unmarked cars have stopped a white tradesmans van in Birkdale Village to issue a stop and search.
the van was pulled over on Liverpool road just after 12 noon today and officers scoured the vans contents before speaking with the driver.
a search turned up nothing suspicious and he was allowed on his way
