Police rush to major incident on Victory Avenue as suspect flees scene

Police are currently responding to a major incident on Victory Avenue in Southport

The police helicopter and emergency services have been called to Victory Avenue near Norwood Road earlier today following an emergency 999 call.

Five police cars rushed to the scene and the police helicopter was called for support after a suspect allegedly fled the scene.
