A suspected banned breed of dog was seized by police during raids in Southport.
The raids took place in the Milton Street and Canning road on Friday. Merseyside police executed warrants at two separate addresses. At one address, officers recovered cash, a quantity of cannabis and also seized what it thought to be a banned breed dog. At another address a quantity of cannabis was recovered.
Two men were arrested a 28- year-old male from Southport was arrested on money laundering offences and suspicion of possession of a controlled drug (Class B).
A second 28-year-old male, also from Southport was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug.
