Police attend daytime squatters at Southport weather shelter
Merseyside police again attended the weather shelter on Park Road West, Southport this evening, Wednesday 31 August.
A local residents told our reporter “both the man and woman have been at the shelter during the day then attending a flat on Lathom Road during the evening.”
A man and his two dogs has been living in the weather shelter for over month.
In July when OTSNews.co.uk first reported on the issue, Fiona Aldred who organised Rockin for the homeless at Birkers said: “We are back out and on the ball this Monday, however mine and my friend’s car is always filled with essentials for when we drive past anyone we see in need.
We will be out again from the first Monday of every month and if anyone sees any rough sleepers please tag myself, Fiona Aldred or Stella Kelly and we will do our best to get to them before they move.
“Thank you”
