Police launch investigation into life threatening head on smash

Lancashire police are investigating a serious RTC at Carr Cross in Scarisbrick last night.

Two cars were involved in a horrific head on collision and a number of men are now in hospital being treated for life threatening injuries.

Detectives are investigating to see if alcohol and drugs were involved in the build up to the crash.

OTS understands that 5 males were injured in the accident with a number needing surgery and urgent critical care.
