Police issue urgent appeal over missing Southport mum

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of missing Southport mum Maria Reid.

Maria was last seen at Linaker Primary School at around 8.30am Wednesday 25 May and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find her.

She is white, 5ft 1in tall, of broad build, with tanned skin, shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.
When last seen, Maria was wearing a dark coloured top and dark coloured pants.

Maria usually travels by train via Birkdale Station and is known to go into different pubs in Southport. Officers believe she could be travelling across the North West of the country.
