Police issue dispersal zone to boot out yobs

Merseyside Police have issued an anti gang dispersal order in Southport

Until Wednesday, Police will have the power to stop large groups of youths gathering in the town centre as a way of combating ongoing anti social behaviour

It comes just days after Southport Pleasureland and Jasper’s Sweetshop were targeted by vandals.

One of the Southport Pier vandals even posted a defence of their actions to Facebook.

This order intends to curb the rising level of yob behaviour
