Police incident Janes Brook Road, Southport

Update A white VW golf crashed into a parked car and the driver fled the scene in the direction of Scarisbrick.

Witnesses told our reporter that a male was arrested.

Merseyside Police are attending an incident in the Scarisbrick New Road Area of Southport this afternoon, Wednesday 12 September.

The Helicopter and a dog handler are searching an area near to the Richmond Pub and Janes Brook Road.
