Police Hunt Coast road reckless driver

A Southport man is lucky to be alive after he had to swerve to avoid a reckless driver on the coastal road in the early hours of this morning.

The quick thinking driver managed to swerve out of the way avoiding a head on collision but crashed his car totally writing it off just weeks after buying it.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information which may lead to the identity of the irresponsible driver to come forward.
