Police, fire and ambulance crews called to Guildford Road crash

A accident blackspot has claimed another victim after a Range Rover collided with a family car during this evenings rush hour.

Police and fire crews were called to the junction of Guilford Road and Moss Lane to help cut free the driver of a saloon car after the collision just after 6pm tonight.

Emergency services remain on scene and a number of occupants of both cars are being treated for different injuries.

Part of the road is now closed off and police are asking people to avoid the area until debris is cleared.
