Police find 6ft tall cannabis plants – left at the roadside!

Police officers in Lancashire have recorded one of their easiest drug busts – after finding three cannabis plants left at the roadside.

Officers found the 6ft tall plants in West Lancs on Wednesday (August 9 2017) and quickly disposed of the find.

A spokesperson for Ormskirk and Burscough Police said: “Today we discovered three large cannabis plants that had kindly been left out in the open for us.

“They went from 6ft tall to six bags of trimmings in no time at all!

“We have though realised the need for some sharper scissors…

“If anyone else has some ‘dodgy’ plants that they would like us to dispose of, tag yourself below and we’ll pop by.”
