Police have pulled over a transit van on Cambridge Road after allegedly not showing a visible number plate.

Officers pulled over the black transit van and issued a Stark warning.

Officers noticed the van exceeding the speed limit for half a mile before pulling him over.

It follows news that Boy racers in Southport being urged to cut their speed as part of a national police campaign to reduce deaths and casualties on the roads. Speeding is one of the major contributory factors.
