Police construct knife arch in Southport after stabbing

#OpTarget continued in Southport last night with Local Policing Team Officers assisted by Merseyside Special Cons to conduct knife arch checks and make the Southport night time economy a safer, #knifefree place to enjoy.

This activity followed the arrest of a 43 year old man on suspicion of attempted murder on Southport Promenade, that occurred earlier on Saturday afternoon.
