Police close off The Park Pub grounds after alleged assault

Police have closed off the Park Pub on Weld Road this morning while forensic officials carry out a detailed crime scene analysis following a major incident last night.

Staff have been told to stay away from the Birkdale pub this morning following an alleged assault within the pub grounds last night.
