Police clamp down on uninsured drivers around Southport

At around 10:50 police were seen with a pulled over car outside the Masons Arms pub on Anchor Street.

At this point it is believed the car was uninsured.

Over the past week there has been an increase in the number of police driving round in a nation wide scheme to try and tackle uninsured drivers.
