Police called to Ash Street collision

Residents near to the junction of Ash Street and Scarisbrick New Road are calling for more safety measures to be put in place following yet another smash.

Two cars collided at the junction shortly after 9am when a Nissan Qashqai collided with a fiesta.

Nobody is thought to have been seriously injured in the incident and both drivers exchanged details at the scene
