POLICE arrest three WANTED Southport men

22nd May 2019

Officers from the Local Policing Team based at Southport police station made three arrests in Southport.

A 27 year old man from Southport was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Court.

A 30 year old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant for a theft which occurred in Stoke and a 21 year old man from Southport was arrested for breach of the conditions of a Criminal Behaviour Order.

Investigations into recent thefts from motor vehicles have continued.

In addition, officers have delivered a second day of #knifefree presentations to Year 9 pupils at Range High School in Formby, alongside our paramedic colleagues from North West Ambulance.

At the other end of the spectrum, officers also attended the ‘Heath and Wellness – ‘Over 50’s lifestyle’ event at Lord Street West church, to offer advice and guidance in avoiding becoming victims of fraud. This is work we do in conjunction with the Home Instead Senior Care group.
