Police arrest a wanted male on Chapel Street Southport

Police officers working undercover arrested wanted man in Boots on Chapel Street Southport today at approximately 4pm, Thursday 7 May 2015.

Plain cloths officers detained the male until the regular police arrived and took him to Copy Lane police station.

A witness said:

“The man who was around 21-years-old was out with his family. He and the police officers were very calm and he went in without any fuss”.
