A popular Southport town centre pup could be set to be partly converted into a mixture of a smaller pub, flats, apartments and a new shop if plans are given the go-ahead.
Applicant Ironshore Glo has submitted a planning application to Sefton Council to convert the upper floor and attic above the Coronation Hotel pub in King Street as well as erecting new dormers to create six one-bed flats as well as four studio apartments.
The larger part to the middle/right of the public house, which dates back to the 1920s, would be retained as a smaller public house while the former pool room, on the left, would be turned into a retail unit.
