Pickpockets target large crowds at Christmas Switch On

Heartless pickpockets have wreaked havoc on residents trying to enjoy the 2019 Southport Christmas Lights Switch On.

Busy crowds made for an easy target for light fingered pick pockets with one lady having her purse stolen.

In it were heartfelt trinkets and mementos.

The victim said “It’s a long black purse with a lil metal stag on it I had cards cash a very sentimental ring witch needed fixing love to shop cards an vouchers an more bits all cards are cancelled now cash am not bothered about it’s the ring I want back.”
