More and more residents are coming forward to complain about dangerous boy racers in Southport.

Elderly pensioners in the north meols area say they are risking life and limb eveytime they cross the road thanks to the unwanted speedsters.
They said “Southport.

However, we literally risk life and limb every day due to excessively speeding cars, motorbikes and HGV vehicles, on the country road we walk along.

Boy racers regularly use the road and speeds in excess of 70 MPH are not an exaggeration.
I recently drove off my driveway and was subjected to hand gestures and verbal abuse even though I was pro- ceeding at 30 MPH.

The sign at the beginning of the road states max 7.5 ton, this has never been enforced and construction vehicles regularly use the road.

“It’s just so dangerous. I’ve been lucky not to be killed”.
