Pensioner hit by van in Southport

Emergency services were called to Mornington Road, Southport this afternoon following reports of an RTC, Wednesday 5 October 2016.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after 2.40pm to find that a man in his 70’s had been hit by a Mercedes Sprinter van.

Fortunately the mans injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road remains closed 3.50pm.
