Pavement Parker falls foul of traffic wardens

An impatient driver desperate to get home has created for themselves an innovative new parking space.

The driver of the metallic green hatchback did not want to wait for a space to become free outside Viceroy Court apartments and decided instead to take up the pavement blocking a vital pathway for disabled people and mothers with prams.

The inconsiderate driver has been reported to nearby traffic wardens who say they will swoop on the car with a red parking fine.

One resident of Viceroy court said “The fake space is what we call it. When the normal spaces are full you always get people throwing their car there and just taking the fine but I don’t know why. If they’ve got so much money to spend on fines you would think they would get a nicer car.”
